Minimum-Phase Robustness for Second-Order Linear Systems

چکیده
A novel approach is presented to address the problem of minimum-phase robustness for second-order linear systemswithuncertainties in the input in uencematrix.Twocases are studied, includingunstructured uncertainties and unidirectional perturbation of the input matrix. A tolerable margin is given for unstructured uncertainties in terms of the structured singular value to guarantee minimum phase for the systems. For a speci ed unidirectional perturbation, the exact bounds can be determined by examining the eigenvalue loci of a certain rational function. The approach is applicable to the systems with noncollocated actuators and sensors. To illustrate the concept several numerical examples are provided.

Gap Metric Robustness of Adaptive Controllers
We consider the construction of adaptive controllers for minimum phase linear systems which achieve non-zero robustness margins in the sense of the (linear) L2[0,∞) gap metric. The gap perturbations may be more constrained for larger disturbances and for larger parametric uncertainty. Working within the framework of the nonlinear gap metric [3], universal adaptive controllers are first given ac...
متن کاملRobust Fuzzy Gain-Scheduled Control of the 3-Phase IPMSM
This article presents a fuzzy robust Mixed - Sensitivity Gain - Scheduled H controller based on the Loop -Shaping methodology for a class of MIMO uncertain nonlinear Time - Varying systems. In order to design this controller, the nonlinear parameter - dependent plant is first modeled as a set of linear subsystems by Takagi and Sugeno’s (T - S) fuzzy approach. Both Loop - Shaping methodology and...
متن کاملA New Method for Time-Delay Compensation in Control Systems
In this paper a new method is introduced and investigated for removing the destabilizing effects of time-delay parameter in control loops. The concept of the method is taken from the knowledge concerning the dynamic behaviour of irrational transfer functions (Ir-TF), which is discussed and investigated elswhere in frequency response domain and is explained briefly here. Ir-TFs, which are we...
متن کاملEquiripple Minimum Phase FIR Filter Design From Linear Phase Systems Using Root Moments
In this brief we propose to design a minimum phase finite-impulse response (FIR) digital filter transfer function from a given equiripple linear phase FIR transfer function which has identical amplitude. The brief deals with two important issues. The first issue is that we are concentrating on very high degree polynomials for which factorization procedures for root extraction are unreliable. A ...
متن کاملPerfect Tracking of Supercavitating Non-minimum Phase Vehicles Using a New Robust and Adaptive Parameter-optimal Iterative Learning Control
In this manuscript, a new method is proposed to provide a perfect tracking of the supercavitation system based on a new two-state model. The tracking of the pitch rate and angle of attack for fin and cavitator input is of the aim. The pitch rate of the supercavitation with respect to fin angle is found as a non-minimum phase behavior. This effect reduces the speed of command pitch rate. Control...
